Media As We Know It

The media today is horrible. Children have no ambition and look up to rappers, drug dealers and killers as motivation. I think television stations need to stop all the violent, indecent shows and movies they show and focus more on educational and informational shows. Our children's minds are being corrupted and they have no hope. They are our future and we as a country should care about what we penetrate into their brains.

  1. I agree. It seems like there are no positive influences in todays world for young children. Their minds are still developing and they are storing all negative things into their heads. This is only making them perform these actions when they are older or even at young ages. We all say we hate bullying and crime so I think it is time we take action and help stop the violence instead of just talking about it all the time.

  2. I agree that the media today is horrible. The media should tone it down a little for younger kids sake. Even if they dont and it still keeps on going with negativity then we just need to monitor what children see. Educational programs are far and few between but its important that children watch those instead of MTV or VH1.
